Mohammad Arabi was a 20-year-old resident of Shahriar, Tehran, born on April 16, 1999. Known to his friends as a vibrant young man, he was part of the generation that took to the streets during the nationwide protests of November 2019, which were initially triggered by a sudden increase in fuel prices. On November 17, 2019, while participating in the demonstrations in Shahriar, Mohammad was targeted by security forces. He was fatally wounded after being shot twice—once in the chest and once in the abdomen—by members of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC). He was laid to rest in the Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery in Shahriar. Images shared by his family and supporters, including a poignant portrait of him wearing a Santa hat, serve as lasting reminders of a life cut short during the state crackdown known as "Bloody November."
